I'll read your work-in-progress, give you detailed notes, and we'll have a consultation via zoom or in person. I generally charge $15/per page (standard 12pt double-spaced formatting). Ask about pay-what-you-can options.

One-on-One Mentoring

Sometimes what you need is not another set of notes but a detailed conversation with someone who gets the struggle and has seen many ways out. Over zoom or in person, we'll talk about where you are in the project, what's worked, what hasn't worked, and how to apply your efforts going forward. Can I create more hours in your day or make writing easy? Sadly, no. Have I been called the "writers' block whisperer" by people who have finally been able to get unstuck after months or years of frustration? Yes.

Books, screenplays, stage plays, poems, memoirs, essays, articles, business plans, and dissertations have flowed from my writers once they were able to get unstuck, sometimes after as few as one or two conversations. I generally charge $120 for a 75-minute consultation. Ask about pay-what-you-can options.
